We are open to serve you, answer questions or schedule an appointment during the following hours:
Monday – Friday: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
If we understand each other, we can work together to send your child into adult life with a healthy mouth and a positive attitude towards dentistry.
Our office is specifically geared toward taking care of the dental health of children. The two big areas that we emphasize in this practice are:
- Prevention of oral disease before it occurs.
- Elimination of fear and pain which is often associated with visits to the dentist.
In the area of prevention, we will stress tooth brushing instructions, diet counseling, use of fluorides, plastic sealants on the surfaces of teeth and use of dental floss.
We attempt to eliminate fear and pain by:
- Making the child comfortable with the office environment and staff.
- Keeping open a two-way communication between child and doctor, including explaining procedures to the child before they occur.
- Using local anesthetic (Novocain, etc.) so there will be no discomfort.
The end result, which we feel that we accomplish in most cases, is a child with a healthy mouth and a good attitude towards this office and towards dentistry in general.
We try our best to accommodate our patients as much as possible when scheduling appointments. We have found that children with extensive dental work or preschool children are better to be seen early in the morning when they are fresher and can have a more positive experience. Some appointments may require the child to miss some school, however, these are considered excused absences. With continued care, appointments during school can be kept to a minimum.
We request 24-hours notice if you need to cancel your appointment. We are aware that unforeseen events sometimes require missing an appointment, but we ask for your help as a courtesy to all of our patients. Continued broken confirmed appointments may result in an additional charge.
Our office strives to provide your child quality care that fits into your budget! We provide to you an insurance ready receipt that will allow you to file your insurance claim.
We do expect and will ask that you pay for any and all services for your child at the time the services are rendered. We accept cash, Personal Checks, Visa, and Master Card.
